I’m Alex So, founder of ASO Tech AB. I’ve worked in the IT industry since 2005, hold an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Chalmers, and have spent much of my career building mobile products. My work combines hands-on engineering with technical architecture, product thinking, and practical delivery.
Over the years I’ve worked across Android, iOS, C++, and delivery tooling, with a strong focus on app quality, build pipelines, and maintainable foundations. I’ve helped scale the Android side of Volvo On Call from a single developer setup to work spanning more than 10 teams, and I’ve also built Android-native retail solutions from scratch at Open Pos, including reusable libraries, hardware integrations, and CI/CD setup. I’m based in Gothenburg, Sweden and available for assignments and projects, including remote work.
